Holy Cross values families in worship together and understands the need for kids to have time to explore and learn in their own way, so we offer opportunities for kids and families to grow in faith outside of worship time.

Youth Afternoons
Sundays 12:30-2:30pm on Zoom

You ages 11 and older meet every Sunday afternoon. Our time together is a combination of conversation, games, snacks, and devotion. Our motto is, “Belong. Believe. Act.” Our of belonging and love comes a belief in Jesus and Lord and Savior. We put that believe into action through service to our community!

Discipleship Hour
Sundays 9:45-10:45am

Children (ages 4 and older) and adults are invited to join us for a multi-generational Sunday school to explore God’s Word. We discover what God has done for His people and what He is still doing today! We begin our time together with an activity or challenge, break into smaller, age-specific groups for study, and reconvene for prayer.

Sundays 9:45am-10:45am

Our program (offered in English and Spanish) is for students 6th grade on up and combines weekly Sunday morning attendance with monthly catechism instruction with the end goal that students would publicly declare their faith!

Family Room & Nursery Care
Sunday Mornings

Children age 3 and under are welcome to visit the Family Room, directly across from entrance to sanctuary, during worship and the discipleship hour. Our staff take care of needs and help children learn and play while parents worship or study. During worship, parents are welcome to stay with their children or leave them in the care of our staff.

Kid’s Praise
Sundays during 11am Worship

Our late service is designed so that families worship together through the first part of the service. Before the sermon, children ages 3 to 11 are released for a special time of worship. Children receive a special message and engage in fun actives to bring the lesson to life and return to their families before Communion. Parents are welcome to attend with their children to see what Kids’ Praise is all about!

First Communion

Once students have participated in the Communion Seminar (offered in English and Spanish), they are eligible to take their First Communion.
