Here’s a hefty dose of joy for your Thursday night!

“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.”

Luke 6:22-23

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,…”

Galatians 5:22, my own emphasis

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17

“We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.”

Romans 5:3-4

May the Lord be with you this weekend, and may you carry the joy of faith in Our Savior with you all the days of your life. Amen!
